Sanding Wooden Floors – Some Frequently Asked Questions
Can my wood floors be sanded more than once?
Some experts estimate that wood floors can be sanded up to ten times. There are a lot of factors that can dictate this including the thoroughness of sanding needed each time and what damage the floor has experienced. Deeper dents and harsher damage will require more sanding than those floors that have superficial wear and tear.
We will always offer advice in relation to your individual floor. This is aimed at ensuring you get the most from your existing wood floors. It may be that your floors can only be sanded only a few times. Therefore, it is important to plan accordingly, and we are here to help with that planning.
What sanding machinery is used?
Different machinery is used in different areas of your wood floor. We use a dustless sanding system that vastly reduces the amount of dust and fine particles created in the process. Through our time in the floor sanding industry, we have honed our knowledge of the machinery available. This knowledge has allowed us to carefully select the machines we use. Furthermore, it allows us the confidence to know that each project will be completed to achieve the best possible finish.
