Commercial wood floor restoration is an area we take great pride in. We were recently invited to complete this commercial floor sanding project for the studio floor for Steph’s Packed Lunch. To achieve such a high calibre of work you need to provide evidence of your skilled craftsmanship. It is also vital to ensure you have vast experience in the commercial field.
Our extensive knowledge has come from years in the floor sanding trade. We sanded the entire floor. At this point we were able to provide a colour sample. This allows our clients to make an informed decision on their wood finish.
Clients often find it a challenge to select a particular wood finish by looking at small samples. Therefore, to see the actual finishes in the correct lighting means they find it easier to make a selection.
Commercial Wood Floor Restoration – Our Floor Sanding Process:
The wood floors are sanded through a range of abrasive grits. This works to remove all the old coatings and other visible imperfections. After this process is completed, the surface is ready for the application of a wood finish such as stains and lacquers.
The new wood colour is applied to the sanded floor. This is then followed by the application of clear coats of a primer followed by two coats of clear matt lacquer. This produces an incredibly hard-wearing and long-lasting finish.
The end result was incredible, and it is another example of our passion for what we do. Further to this we are passionate about using only the highest-quality products. Lacquers from Pallmann are durable coatings with the benefit of additional hardeners (Pal-X-Gold).
We are happy to discuss all elements of the commercial wood floor restoration process. If you would like to find out more or have questions about floor sanding, please call 0800 852 7177.
